Manage your stress using a practical, easy to understand technique that works.
Meditation can be confusing, intimidating, or even scary for many. But it doesn’t have to be. I’m known for my ability to teach meditation in a straightforward, accessible way so that anyone can reap the benefits—even the self proclaimed “non-meditators”.
Why meditate?
The research is in–– meditation is proven to decrease stress, anxiety, overwhelm, burnout, emotional reactivity, and more. AND it’s proven to increase overall mood, productivity/performance, mental health, physical health, resilience, and emotional agility.
When you pair these facts with additional research that shows stress adversely affects mental health, physical health (especially our gut and heart), sleep, memory, and more, the need to incorporate meditation into your routine becomes a no brainer. Especially when you consider that, as of May 2020, a third of Americans now report signs of anxiety, depression, or both.
Meditate with me
I practice and teach mindfulness meditation–– a secular, attention-based practice where you place your focus on the breath. Our minds tend to dwell on the future or the past (where fear, stress, and anxiety live). Focusing on the breath helps bring you back to the present moment.
I offer virtual meditation classes for small to mid-sized groups at companies across the country, working with individual teams and departments or entire organizations. I’ve taught at 26 different organizations across 11 different industries, including financial services, law firms, consulting, retail, tech, entertainment, advertising, PR, and more.
